History
Edit
Tubular magazines have been around for an extremely long time. They are used extensively in shotguns and pump action weapon systems. In a tubular magazine system, the ammunition is loaded into the the weapon cartridge by cartridge[1]. The in-game Maverick 88 and Auto-5 use this type of feed system[2][3], which can be inferred by the individual shells in the model of their magazine.
Appearance
Edit
The magazine used in the Maverick 88 has the same model as the magazines used in the M870 and Double Barrel Shotgun, with a few slight differences. Instead of having 2 shells as the Double Barrel Shotgun magazine does, or 8 shells as the M870 magazine does, the Maverick 88 magazine has 6 shells in its model. Also, the shells are a different color than the ones used in the Double Barrel Shotgun and M870 magazines. The shells used in the model of the Maverick 88 magazine are yellow instead of red or green. Additionally, the size of the shells are the same as all of the other models.
Notes
Edit
- The Maverick 88 and Auto-5 do not use magazines, they use a tubular feed system.
